I have indeed committed the biggest sin in the blogging world and that is to not update your blog. Definitely one of my pet peeves to read a blog and then not see it updated. Thought I had to make some sort of filler post until my bloggers block goes away which has gone on for a long time now.
It seems I’ve got hardly anytime now because I have a new dog that loves me a lot and I can’t leave him alone because he’s lovely. However, that is indeed pretty much an excuse because i’m well aware of how much time I’m wasting and not being productive like not getting up til 1pm while I try and fail to remember my nice dreams. Or refreshing the forum home page to see if anything has changed.
Havn’t played any online poker at all except the NPF freeroll on William Hill the other week but have been out a couple of times to the Grosvenor on a friday night as it’s a good value tourney and a nice way for me to get out of the house once a week. Nothing’s changed at all with the way I run. Play tight, get short, never win key flips. Play more loose and agrressive, get awful timing and run into massive hands. Still keep wanting to give up completely but it’s an addictive game and you constantly wanna try and beat it. At the moment though, confidence is at an all time low since never having one big break despite playing well. So I think my confidence is really effecting the way I play to some extent. And that is the reason you keep playing as you seem to think that you must be due one.
Vegas is only like 8 weeks away and havn’t really though about it a lot to be honest. No hotel booked yet but might be getting a little a surprise getting booked into the Ventian but otherwise don’t mind too much where I stay i’ll just be happy to be there. May sound strange but I really don’t i’ll play much poker maybe just one or two tourneys but just wanna get a feel for the place and have a good time. Don’t wanna be stuck in a cardroom for most of the day after all it will be my 21st birthday and it needs to be pretty special. Can always leave the poker for when i’ll probs return in June next year.
As I don’t really play much poker anymore I can’t really write about my personal experiences so going to be using this as a writing medium to share my poker knowledge and hopefully get some unique and interesting articles out there. I have a healthy list of article topics but the hardest bit is converting them into posts which will hopefully come back soon.
