What Do You Want To Read From Me?

10 October, 2010

in General

I really love writing, giving advice and solving problems but being motivated to do something is a huge problem I have. So i’m looking for a bit of guidance for this blog and at least I can get a few more posts flowing.

It’s a well known fact that i’ve retried from poker now but I still have a strong interest in other areas of poker such as marketing and I really love making a difference with my site Newcastle Poker Forum. But right now my life is pretty boring so I never really have anything to share. My life right now basically consists of, sleeping as late as possible, working, playing with my dog, squatting, learning lots (but not practising it a lot), watching too much misc crap like Emmerdale and spending a lot of time reading misc crap on the net.

So my question is this. What would you really interested in reading from me on this blog?

Perhaps you just really want to know my opinion on something but haven’t had the opportunity to ask. What about some advice on something? Open to anything creative really but keep it related to poker and not too personal since it is supposed to be a poker blog.

Let me know in the comments and i’ll follow it up with a blog post.

I’d like to know your opinion on affiliate networks and the constant race to the bottom with rake back deals and how that affects the poker ecology. I’d also be interested in hearing why you decided to retire from playing poker, if that’s not too personal.

I’d quite like to read some strategy from you as you are obviously a clever guy, but I’m guessing this wont happen. Also would like to know why you blocked me from the NPF in a cowards way instead of just telling me? I emailed your Dad, but no reply.

You obv have ability to be successful, wonder what you see yourself doing in 10 years, 20 years etc etc

Dream table to be on
Hardest table to be on
(newcastle based players for both obv)

Got some strategy stuff planned for newcastlepoker.com but don’t know when.

You were blocked because you came back with arsey comments, no re introduction to new account so looked like you wanted to cause trouble. Simply blocking you was the easiest way to make you go away. There was no need for an explanation.

I have a clear 5 year life plan but I prefer to keep this to myself.

Sorry don’t have answer to last question, not anything I think about anymore.

Lol ok, but I’m sure your members would prefer me to be on, or at least be told. Don’t think my comments were too arsey but GL.

Hey Scott. I for one found your ’2010 And Beyond’ post very interesting, which although had some poker related content was mainly a USA trip report. So I guess I’d like to read about your future travel endeavours, especially your future Las Vegas adventures with Dave. In regards to categorizing your life as boring, that’s kind of upsetting to hear from a 22 year old. Life’s what you make it Scotty and don’t go through your twenties leading a boring life (even if it’s succussful career wise), get out and take up new interests/activities that keep you entertained. Then once you take up these new interests/activities, report back to this blog and let us know how things are going. I know it won’t be poker related, but M’EH my blog has very little poker content in at the minute although very much still a poker blog. Good luck with everything and I look forward to reading future content, whatever it may be. ;-)
